A message from Cameron’s CEO

Since August of 1985, I’ve been privileged to be a small part of the ongoing Cameron Mutual story. It’s a story that began in 1892 and continues into the future. It’s a wonderful story, and I’m honored to have a role in the ongoing narrative.
Despite its age, Cameron continues to evolve and make important changes that better position us to continue as a long-term, stable market for farm and commercial insurance needs. We’re better equipped to meet the challenges that continually arise within our industry. We’ve sharpened our focus on the important elements of being an organization of excellence.
We’re pursuing a vision rather than a mere destination. We see a better, stronger Cameron Mutual down the road. We’re building on that vision.
What will not change is who we are. We have an identity built over 130+ years of making good on the promises we make.
We’re a mutual company. Our sole focus is the long-term interests of our farm and commercial policyholders, their independent agents, and our staff that works so hard for them on a daily basis.
We answer the call. Whether it’s an underwriter helping an agent service an account or a claims adjuster when we’re needed the most, we are there.
We embrace our rural American roots. We understand the challenges and needs facing farmers and small business owners. We also understand there is a place for small-town values in and around larger communities
We genuinely care for those around us. We’re proud of our CIC Cares program which partners with our agents to reinvest in the good works within their towns and cities.
We have a mission. We provide important protection that allows our insureds to focus their attention and assets on building better futures for their families, businesses, and communities. We provide peace of mind that we will deliver on the promises of protection made in our policies of insurance
We have a long and ongoing mission, and it’s never been about us.
